Little Bit About Us

Who We Are

About us

SENDsational Moves

Welcome to our world of acceptance here at SENDsational Moves.

As cousins bound by a shared passion for music and dance, we embarked on a journey to create a safe and inclusive space for the disabled and SEND community to explore the magic of movement, safe touch and sound.

Our commitment to inclusivity is the heart of SENDsational Moves, and we firmly believe that every child and adult, regardless of ability, deserves a space where they can not only participate, but truly thrive.

In our classes, inclusivity isn’t just a word; it’s a practice. We tailor our programmes to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that everyone feels welcome, supported, and empowered. By embracing and celebrating differences, we create an environment where diversity is not only accepted but embraced as a source of strength and beauty.

Our team of dedicated instructors are trained to provide personalised attention, adapt movements, and foster a sense of belonging for all participants. Through patience, understanding, and a deep passion for what we do, we aim to unlock the potential within each individual allowing them to discover the joy of music and movement on their terms.

By promoting a culture of acceptance, respect and support we create a space where children and adults with disabilities can flourish, grow and most importantly, feel valued and celebrated for who they are.

Together, we can create a world where everyone can thrive and truly believe that nothing is impossible.

Let’s be SENDsational!,
All our love,

Leah and Emily x

Leah Parris

Director

About me

Leah is the co-founder and director of SENDsational Moves. She specialises in the creation and inclusion of our classes and students. Whilst training at Performance Preparation Academy , she became inspired to create her own performance group. This is now established as Leah Parris Theatrical Arts and provides accessible and inclusive training to over 70 students across Northamptonshire. Alongside this, Leah works in residential care supporting children with emotional behaviour disorders, learning difficulties and severe SEND needs. Through completing a level 4 qualification in children, families and young people along side PACE , therapeutic care , emotion coaching and several other trainings, Leah has noticed the lack of accessible clubs and support for those who need it the most. Leah states “This is ultimately what sparked the idea of SENDsational Moves and I endeavour to create a space where our neurodivergent children , no matter who they are , can achieve.”
